Greenbrier River

The Greenbrier River is a free-flowing river that flows the entire length of Pocahontas County. It is great for fishing, (native brook trout, rainbow trout, and small mouth bass) innertubing, canoeing and kayaking, not to mention a moonlight dip in a swimming hole. The river is literally just steps away from the front porchs of all of our cabins.

Eight rivers flow from our mountains; Greenbrier, Gauley, Elk, Cherry, Cranberry, Tygart Valley, Williams and Shavers Fork of the Cheat.
